This Italian Greyhound named Tikka the Iggy stole the fashion spotlight as she strutted down the streets of Montreal in the trendiest fashion clothes. She was popular for her faux fur, onesies, and even tracksuits which she fashionably wore and even effortless at that. It was safe to say that she rivaled the most sought-after models in the industry.
Greyhounds are desert dogs with short fur so her outfits were not just to make her look like a model. It was also meant to help keep her warm during the relatively cold months from October to May. And if you’re curious, her two dads sourced all of her outfits from local stores since they seemed to fit her better. As you can see, Tika had a very unique shape.
Her photos and videos quickly became viral raking over one million views on both TikTok and Instagram. She also earned over one million followers on Instagram. And this stardom became her ticket to model for a bigger audience.
Fashion giants like Vogue magazine and other trendsetting outlet media caught a whiff of her photos and videos. Soon enough, her photo sessions became paid photo sessions but it wasn’t just about getting paid. Her photos were also about raising awareness about the LGBTQ+ community where her two dads belong. Tika had always been their proud advocate and she was also known as Kween.
Tika was not only a diva in modeling. Her lifestyle as a nine-and-a-half-year-old dog meant that she slept around 22 hours a day. She was already old so she definitely needed the rest.
