Aaron Kinsel, a man that worked at Rumpke Waste & Recycling as a truck driver, was just going about his business one regular day. He was driving his route through Colerain Township outside of Cincinnati when he noticed a dumped backpack on the side of the road. He checked it and discovered an abandoned ten-week-old puppy inside.
Aaron discovered a female boxer-mix suffering from dehydration and a fractured leg. According to the trash disposal company, the dog was immediately rushed to a veterinarian’s office, where it was determined that her leg would have to be amputated through a costly procedure in order to save her limb.
Aaron has agreed to bear the expense of treatment in order to ensure that the lovely sweetheart recovers completely. They chose to call her Tipper during that time.
It also appeared that Rumpke’s employees share this kind-hearted attitude. Kendra Catherman, their Cincinnati safety manager, said on their website that their team members are instructed to be quite vigilant not only for their own safety but also for the protection of their customers. They make every effort to look after the communities they serve and to always do the right thing.
Kendra also used the opportunity to praise Aaron. They are incredibly proud of what Aaron has accomplished, and everyone at Rumpke is thrilled to have Tipper as an honorary member of their team. Isn’t that adorable?
When asked about Tipper, Aaron claimed that he felt like he was meant to help her. And it was precisely because of this run-in with fate that he decided to adopt her. Aaron is currently considering following the vet’s advice and having Tipper’s leg removed entirely, as the procedure to repair her limb is likely to give her more issues in the future.
Rumpke joyously reported on their official Facebook page on February 3 that Tipper had received the operation she needed to amputate her rear limb, which was damaged in two places. Tipper rested nicely at the vet’s after the procedure went smoothly.
The Kinsel family is eager to welcome her home, which might happen as soon as the next few days.
Aaron, thank you for your nice deed! It simply goes to show that being alert and aware may pay off big time!
