Canines love inventing fun games out of the objects they find within their environment. Even if such an item’s not meant as a toy, dogs manage to develop ingenious ideas to play with it.
Thus, one mischievous Great Dane hilariously uses its German Shepherd sibling’s tail as its makeshift rope in an impromptu tug-of-war game. But, it looks like the German Shepherd doesn’t mind its sibling’s peculiar behavior so long as it’s having fun.
Your tail’s so fluffy!
In this intriguing footage, two dogs stand on their backyard’s grassy portion. One of the canines’ a German Shepherd, while the other doggo’s a spot-furred Great Dane named Dot.
At first, you’ll think Dot’s merely sniffing her canine sister’s tail. Yet, you’ll soon realize that the mischievous Great Dane grabs a mouthful of the German Shepherd’s bushy tail and holds on to it with a vice-like grip.
Despite this peculiar activity, the German Shepherd doesn’t do anything to ward Dot away. The German Shepherd even calmly plays with the tennis ball instead of shooing the Great Dane away.
Those were the days.
On and on, Dot carries on with her improvised version of tug-of-war using her sibling’s bushy tail. Yet, no matter how hard the Great Dane tugs on the doggo’s tail, the German Shepherd continues with its business like it’s nothing unusual to it.
This scenario continued until the German Shepherd and the Great Dane glance at their fur parent’s location. As soon as the two canines perform this move, the scene shifts to a stock video depicting a younger Dot performing the same game on the German Shepherd’s tail.
By the looks of things, Dot carried the peculiar habit up until her adult years. Thus, if you don’t want to miss out on the adorable Great Dane’s brilliant game, continue watching the video footage below.
