Cami Jendrzejewski is the owner of 17 Hands Equestrian, a company that provides trendy attire for equestrians. She has this great passion for horses, and she has this same passion for dogs as well.
Doug was a rescue dog that Cami adopted. When he was discovered on the street as a tiny puppy, he was quickly taken in by a foster family. And after his foster mother posted a video of him online, Cami fell in love with him.
Adopting Doug had been her best decision ever. Doug appears to be always happy, so having a poor day is not often in the books. He would find many ways to make you laugh, and would repeat doing that if you laughed.
Doug was raised among Cami’s horses, and as a result, he developed horse-like qualities. He spent his childhood working with horses and attempting to replicate their movements. He also began eating hay or bran feed alongside them. When the horses were grazing, Cami observed him grazing alongside them.
Doug felt excluded whenever Cami interacted with the horses. He intended to participate in all activities that involved the horses. Doug grumbled to participate in their activities. Because of this, Cami decided to tie Doug to the hot walker, much to his delight.
The dog was liked by every horse, and Nigel, one of the horses, became like a brother to him.
Nigel was required to travel from the United Kingdom to the United States and was apprehensive throughout the journey. He was still nervous when he arrived at Cami’s house.
Doug stayed with Cami throughout the night as she sat in Nigel’s stall to comfort him. Nigel then rested his head against Doug, as the dog’s presence somehow calmed him. Since then, their relationship has become quite close.
Cami had no reason to worry if Doug and Nigel were at the barn. Nigel took good care of Doug, nuzzling him and giving him nose bumps. Together, they would enjoy bucking, running, and playing. It is a great sight to see these two creatures together.
