Ranking high on every fur parent’s priority list is the comfort and happiness of their pets. They would go above and beyond just to make sure their dogs are healthy, strong, and happy. Sometimes, they would even make sacrifices just to give their furbabies the kind of life that they deserve.
Betsy Redfern is among those fur parents who’s guilty of everything she can to make Cupid the Chihuahua’s life comfortable. Her pup means the world to her since she was only in third grade when they met. They’ve been inseparable since day one, and they’ve been best friends for a decade and two years.
What to do with extra storage space
When Redfern left home for college, she decided to bring Cupid along with her. She was determined not to let the new chapter in her life separate the two of them. She knew that the new setup was going to be difficult, but she was willing to take on the challenge.
Upon arriving at her new apartment, Redfern noticed that her bedroom had an extra closet attached to it. She initially planned on using it as storage space for her stuff, but she decided to do something with it instead. She turned it into a cozy bedroom for her beloved Cupid.
The perfect oasis
The fur mom put a four-post bed (designed by her mom) with comfy blankets and a mini closet inside the bedroom. She then added in a nameplate, a rug, and a bucket filled with toys.
Cupid couldn’t stop smiling when Redfern showed him his room. It was an oasis he could retreat to whenever his fur mom would attend classes. The best part about the bedroom was how quiet and cozy it was. Cupid has been getting the right amount of rest ever since he started sleeping there!
