Andrew Cotter has been among those whose livelihood has been greatly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. With the imposed lockdown, big gatherings such as sports events are temporarily canceled. However, as a sports commentator, he decided to use his skill on what is readily available while he is quarantined at home.
The Scottish sportscaster has a calm voice that comes with a brogue, which makes his commentating sound more exciting. He works primarily for BBC as one of the voices behind rugby, golf, and other sporting events. As it turned out, he could also do commentaries even for simple and domestic activities at home. What’s more impressive is these activities are done by his furry children.
Serena and Venus might have already found their match as iconic siblings with Mabel and Olive. Andrew first introduced the two revealing Olive as the five-time champion and Mabel as last year’s winner and a rising star. He then went on to describe how Olive has a steady and relentless technique while Mabel, in contrast, has a happier and more energetic style.
You would never have guessed that two adorable dogs eating their food on their bowls would sound very competitive and exciting. Andrew eloquently described every second as a very entertaining competition where he later declared Olive as the champion. He ended it though on a very positive note, claiming the two as great rivals but also great friends. What makes it more relatable is the voice of a woman who urges Andrew to hurry with the feeding.
The two returned on another nail-biting competition, which now includes a pink bone chew toy. Andrew proved he is the perfect dog dad, totally understanding Mabel and Olive’s temperaments as he correctly predicted the outcome of the game. Anyone hearing his commentating was probably as eager as Mabel in stealing the toy from Olive.
Andrew has another video of the two playing fetch in the woods, making their jump from a turbid pond sound exciting. We can’t wait to see more adventures of Mabel and Olive with side commentaries from their obviously devoted dad. You can watch the exciting video below.
