Tim Pink got himself an adorable little Doberman puppy named Bluff back in 2011 and was also in need of a career change at the same time. Tim started thinking that he would need to hire someone to come in and take care of Bluff should he get a 9 am to 5 pm job.
Tim suddenly had a light bulb moment and told himself that he could be the one to take care of Bluff instead. Tim’s crazy idea snowballed into him establishing his own company called Saratoga Dog Walkers.
Tim said that he and his team of dogwalkers pick up the dogs individually and meet up at a specific place so they could walk the pups together as a pack. Tim proudly shared that all breeds and sizes are welcome to join the group.
Tim recalled that the smallest one to join their group only weighs four pounds while the biggest is about one hundred ten pounds. Tim shared that the little pups and big dogs walk separately so that the smaller ones will not get stepped on along the way.
Tim admitted that being a dog walker is a lot of hard work because they have to pick up about 50 doggy poops a day. They also have to monitor everybody’s headspace and ensure that all dogs are comfortable.
Tim recalled that they have many different distractions whenever they go out on walks. However, Tim and his team welcome every distraction because it serves as an excellent opportunity for them to train the dogs.
Tim shared how amazing it feels whenever all the dogs follow his lead. Tim said that he is glad that the pups enjoy being in a pack and could not be any prouder they love, trust, and treat each other with respect.
