Lori was putting newly-washed clothes in the hamper when her dog, Anya, suddenly stuck her head in the dryer. She recalled that Anya eventually started copying what she was doing by taking the clean garments out of the dryer and placing them in the basket after watching her do it for a few days.
Lori shared that the German Shepherd started doing other stuff, such as picking up objects from the floor, throwing napkins in the bin, helping clean the yard, and even bringing the groceries from the car to inside the house. Anya wanted nothing but to help out with whatever she was doing.
Anya loves helping her human mom so much that she would hand her mama a clean dish as soon as the dishwasher opens. Lori said that Anya would even take the garbage out of her hand if she ever sees her taking them outside.
Lori recalled that she and her husband went to have their car washed when he told her about a tiny cat he saw living in the dumpster. She knew she could not just abandon the poor kitten, so they brought her home with them.
Lori and her husband kept the kitten they named Munchi in a crate with a litter box and a little bed in the basement. She recalled how frightened Munchie was during the first couple of days.
Lori said that there was a kitty door going into the basement where Anya frequently hung around. She recalled Anya sitting right beside it for most of the day and peeked through the plastic entry to observe Munchie.
Munchie eventually became curious about Anya, so she started going out of the crate to check on her big fluffy doggy sister. Anya and Munchie became friends after a couple of weeks of trying to get to know one another.
